I just wanted to tell you about Hawthorn Pest Control, which is approved under your Buy With Confidence scheme.
I got in touch with Hawthorn after our block of flats had been infested with rats for at least five months and probably much longer. Before using Hawthorn, I had used three other pest control organisations and they had not been able to find out how the rats were getting into the flats. It sometimes felt as though the other organisations wanted to collect their fees for putting down more and more bait, but did not want the bother of tracking down the source of the infestation.
With Hawthorn Pest Control it has been a different story. Instead of simply putting down bait, the pest control technician pieced together all the information and did a careful inspection. It now seems that the rats are entering because of faulty building work that was not detected by the other pest controllers.
The pest control technician from Hawthorn, Mat, was a pleasure to work with. He returned phone calls promptly and went to great lengths to explain the issues in terms that I could understand.
